खाद्य तेलामध्ये होणारी भेसळ खाद्यतेलांचा होणारा दुरुपयोग आणि त्यातून उद्भवणाऱ्या समस्यांना निर्बंध घालण्याकरिता केंद्र सरकारने राबविलेला प्रयोगात्मक उपक्रम म्हणजे डब्ल्यू सी ओ सी (वेस्ट कुकिंग ऑइल कलेक्शन). केंद्रीय आरोग्य मंत्रालय आणि केंद्रीय अन्नसुरक्षा मंत्रालय यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने हा उपक्रम प्रत्येक राज्यात आणि प्रत्येक जिल्हा पातळीवरती राबविण्यात येत आहेत. या उपक्रमाचा उद्देश खाद्यतेलाचा दुरुपयोग आणि त्यातून उद्भवणाऱ्या आरोग्याच्या समस्या याच्या वरती निर्बंध लादणे आणि त्या निरुपयोगी तेला पासन बायोडीजल तयार करणे एवढाच आहे. जेणेकरून खाद्यतेलाचा उपरास टाळता येईल आणि त्यातून पुनर्निर्मिती करून प्रदूषण कमी करण्याकरिता उपयुक्त असे बायोडिझेल तयार करून ग्रीन इंडिया मिशन या केंद्र सरकारच्या कार्यक्रमास प्रबळ करता येईल. न इंडिया मिशन या केंद्र सरकारच्या कार्यक्रमास प्रबळ करता येईल.

डब्लू सी ओ सी या उपक्रमास राज्य पातळीवर राबविता यावा याकरिता केंद्र सरकारने प्रत्येक राज्यांमध्ये वेगवेगळ्या बायो सेक्टर मध्ये काम करणाऱ्या निर्वाचित अशा कंपन्यांना नियुक्त केलेले आहे.म्हणून अन्नसुरक्षा मंत्रालय आणि आरोग्य मंत्रालय यांनी संयुक्तपणे नागरिकांच्या आरोग्याचा धोका लक्षात घेता खाद्यतेल एकदाच उपयोगात आणण्या बाबत कडक आणि सक्तीचे निर्बंध लावण्याचे आदेश जिल्हा पातळीवरील विभागास देऊन बेस्ट कुकिंग ओईल कलेक्शन हा कार्यक्रम राबविण्याचे ठरविलेले आहे.े.

त्या अनुषंगाने सरकारच्या वतीने वेस्ट कुकिंग ऑइल कलेक्शन करण्याचे काम हे बायो ईगल पेट्रोलियम प्रायव्हेट लिमिटेड या कंपनीस देण्यात आलेले आहे. त्या अनुषंगाने बायो ईगल पेट्रोलियम प्रायव्हेट लिमिटेड कंपनी प्रत्येक जिल्हा पातळीवर वेस्ट कुकिंग ऑइल कलेक्शन करण्याकरिता प्रत्येकी एक व्यक्ती ची नियुक्ती करीत आहे . जिल्हा पातळीवर वेस्ट कुकिंग ऑइल खरेदी करत असताना नियुक्त व्यक्तीस काही अडचणी असल्यास संबंधित अन्नसुरक्षा विभाग आणि आरोग्य विभाग हे संपूर्णपणे मदत करण्यास कटिबद्ध आहेत.ेले आहे. ात आलेले आहे.

बायो ईगल पेट्रोलियम प्रायव्हेट्स लिमिटेड कंपनी बेस्ट कुकिंग ऑइल गोळा करून संबंधित सरकारी रिफायनरी प्लांट्स ला पुरवठा करते. वेस्ट कुकिंग ऑइल चे पुनर्निर्मिती माध्यमातून बायोडीजल बायो पेट्रोल आणि बायो सीएनजी तयार करून बायो ईगल पेट्रोलियम प्रायव्हेट लिमिटेड कंपनी प्रदूषण मुक्त भारत या ग्रीन इंडिया मिशन ला पुढे नेण्यास सहयोग करते.ध आहेत.

The experimental initiative launched by the central government to restrict the adulteration of edible oil, misuse of edible oils, and the problems arising from it is called the WCOC (Waste Cooking Oil Collection) program. This initiative is being implemented at both the state and district levels by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. The purpose of this initiative is to impose restrictions on the misuse of edible oil and the health issues arising from it, and to convert the unusable oil into biodiesel. This helps in avoiding the misuse of edible oil and supports the Green India Mission by creating useful biodiesel, which reduces pollution.

To implement the WCOC program at the state level, the central government has appointed selected companies working in various bio sectors in each state. Consequently, the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare have jointly decided to enforce strict and mandatory regulations on the use of edible oil only once. This decision has been communicated to the district-level departments to carry out the WCOC program.
